Philosophy
The philosophy here at Culinary Cuties is, children our are future.
What we teach them today will inevitably be our future reality. Everything in life comes full circle, especially pertaining to our food. Our society is showing an awareness about food and its conditions. Parents and caregivers are more informed about the "food machine", they are taking notice of chemically engineered foods, over processing and inhumane handling. For some time now, food has lost its true and natural essence. Our food has gone from a pure and beautiful, earthly process to a corner-cutting, machanically engenieered, money minded machine. Children deserve a pure and natural process! We are informed, we should act accordingly. We should question our food... Where did this come from?... How was it handled?... Why has it made it to our grocery shelves?... Is it good for my child?... Is it good for my Earth? We must be tenacious and fueled by the facts, attitudes must change about our food. One of the biggest changes we can do is influence the younger generation by the foods we choose to give them on a daily basis. We can be excited about nutritious meals and snacks, show them its cool to be anti-fast foods. To quote the famous pop song by Whitney Houston, "the children our are future. Teach them well and let them lead the way." I believe this. Let them lead the way to better food, better food conditions and better reasons for food to reach our grocery shelves. Teach them the power of our personal decisions and how they effect our earth. Did you know? Grocery stores keep record of customer purchases to keep track of what to stock on thier shelves. If we buy healthy, organic, smart, earth friendly brands; the grocery store will make sure to have them available to us. These everyday decisions trickle all the way down to our farmers. If we want healthy, real food; they will give it to us. But there must be a demand for it. Luckily grocery stores are carrying more organic food and produce, making it easier than ever to make educated decisions for the young ones. We must all lead by example, for this is really, how we learn.
One LOVE, One EARTH, Our FUTURE
